"After many years driving 5 series BMW, I decided to look at a BMW 7 series and, with a deep breath try a Diesel!
As I started to search, St George came up and we decided to investigate, the car was just stunning 730D Very low millage and just 2 owners. The drive was sublime, It did two test drives to convince me the car was right for me, (my fault didn’t reset the seat height on first test drive, while wife had already said we are buying that one!)
Now let’s talk about John, his no pressure, take your time, makes such a difference to buying a new car. With John you feel that YOU HAVE made the decision to buy the car not the salesman.
Mind you it’s not hard to buy a car from john as the quality of the cars he sources is obvious compared to the kind of car you find if you spent any time going some of the second hand sales places around Bristol!
I have already told John that due to the annual mileage I do, and as I’m sure this car will perform perfectly, I’ll be back in two years for another 7 series. He has promised me he won’t develop a twitch about it!

"I recently visited johns website looking at a citroen c2 vts, it was very well described and had lots of great pictures so you could see the exact condition of the car. I did a bit of research and realised that I would be buying the car from johns home adress, ill be honest now, this worried me a little as I've always bought cars from dealerships. "I've recently bought a 3.2 v6 GT from Craig and John. I'd been looking for one of these for near 5 months until I saw the GT advertised from St George. Due to circumstances, I never managed to view the car before buying. However, the information and masses of pictures on the car helped sway my decision to buy it.
Unfortunately, I/we, were waiting on the V5 to come through for the original plates: through no fault of John or Craig. Credit due, as they kept me informed of what was going on throughout the process.
When I went down to collect the car, Craig was very welcoming and easy to deal with. On viewing the car, I found it was just like it was depicted on the website; in fantastic condition, and was thrilled to have waited for this car to come along.
Despite being stuck in 'crawling' motorway traffic all the way back, in 20C heat, I couldn't have imagined being being sat, so relaxed, anywhere else. Having driven it almost a week, I can report that it drives like a dreama and the engine, the V6, there was really no need to fit a radio when you've got that soundtrack!

"It wasn't an Alfa, but we bought an '07 Mondeo 2.5 Turbo Ghia from John and Craig. They were very pleasant to deal with and sorted a couple of minor issues, apparent via a service, before we took delivery. Subsequently the car also developed a fault in the ECU/display unit. Fair play to them, they arranged for the removal, repair, and replacement of the unit - all we had to do was get the car to/from their chosen garage - with no quibbles. So thus far no complaints and we can report that they are good chaps, which is something in this day and age!"

"I'd been watching this site for a while and had a short list of vehicles I was interested in; however the demise of my 156 due to cam belt failure - my having ignored the recommended interval for change - failed at 132,000 miles (exactly 72,000 miles since previous change) prompted me to book up a test drive of an 05 156 2.0 JTS. On arrival I saw that the web pictures were indeed a true reflection of the car's excellent condition - it was as per description! As I knew the area John gave me the keys and let me test drive it with none of the fuss and paperwork you get from the usual garage. I was impressed and we shook hands on it within 30 mins of meeting. The car was prepped as agreed and ready for collection - on a Saturday - as was convenient for us. A subsequent technical failure (coil pack)was sorted quickly, no quibble, professional efficiency with the personal touch. I do love Alfas and once you try and appreciate their unique charm I'm sure you will too. My rear light actually got smashed the night before it was part exchanged and St George honoured the sale and let me pay for a replacement which they sorted themselves.
This is not to mention the car which was in great condition, has been prepared well and they have spent a fair bit of money getting her back up to scratch with a high quality wheel refurb and repair of key marks on the doors.

He took my Clio in part-ex and we arranged all the figures via email which was great as I live 60 miles away!... I also asked to have some custom alloys fitted that I bought third party and they were happy to have them delivered directly to them and were fitted ready for collection!

"I travelled 400 miles from Scotland to view one of Johns cars. It was a particularly rare model and I had my doubts as over the phone descriptions are rarely 100% accurate. Car turned out to be probably one of the best examples in the UK for the asking price and I know because I had looked for long enough. It was immaculately presented and the pictures didn`t do it justice. I dealt with Craig who was great with no sales pressure or pitch.
